Tony Mowbray has once again paid tribute to the fantastic backing that his side received in last night's 1-0 win over Scunthorpe United.
Following the weekend victory at Rochdale in which over 3200 Rovers fans were in attendance, the blue and white faithful were out in force once more at Glanford Park.
The Rovers supporters certainly made themselves heard throughout, with Mowbray delighted that they were able to send them home happy once more.
"I feel like a broken record, but they are amazing," said the Rovers boss.
"I think it gives the players the sense of feeling that they are playing for a big football club.
"We were described in their programme tonight as a fallen giant. The players have to know, the new players and the ones who have been a few years, they have to realise that the expectation at this football club is that never mind fallen, we can be a giant and hopefully we will be giant again.
"We have to come to places like this and win and that is what we have done, so I'm delighted for them."
After two matches on the road Rovers are back at Ewood Park this Saturday when AFC Wimbledon are the visitors.
