Debut for Paul Downing in place of the injured Charlie Mulgrew

Tony Mowbray makes one change to the side that defeated MK Dons in Rovers' last league outing for today's game against Rochdale.

Captain Charlie Mulgrew misses out with the ankle injury picked up on international duty with Scotland, which means a Rovers debut for deadline day signing Paul Downing. 

Fellow new boy Rekeem Harper is on the bench, along with Bradley Dack, who has recovered from a hamstring injury.

Craig Conway captains the side, who will be roared on by over 3,000 travelling Rovers fans.
