Elliott Bennett knows Rovers have to put last weekend's disappointment behind them and look forward to this Saturday's trip to Shrewsbury.
Rovers' four-match winning run came to an end with the home defeat to AFC Wimbledon last time out, but the midfielder has stressed that they have to quickly move on from the loss.
Bennett believes the match against the league leaders gives Rovers the perfect chance to make things right, and to get back to collecting more points to help them climb the table.
"The gaffer doesn't let you get too high after winning and too low after losing," said the midfielder.
"We went through the game on Monday, and obviously it was disappointing. We went through where we went wrong and this week we've been working on ways to put it right.
"You can't focus on last Saturday, we lost 1-0, there's not a lot you can do about that now, you've just got to try and make sure that it doesn't happen too often this season.
"We are looking forward to Shrewsbury now and that is where all our plans are heading for.
"It was a shame that we didn't have a game this Tuesday to put Saturday right a bit quicker, but we are looking forward to the weekend, we've three games in a week and we'll be looking to take maximum points as we always do."
