Make it a good end to the week

Dack out to make it seven points from a possible nine

Bradley Dack knows Rovers have to build on Tuesday's win over Rotherham United when they take on Gillingham this Saturday afternoon.

The Rovers attacker felt the midweek display was their best of the season to date and insists that is the minimum in terms of performance levels that they have to show.

But if there was one area that could be improved on from the victory over the Millers, was the ability to turn more of their chances into goals. Something the squad have been working on in training this week.

"After the Wimbledon game everybody was quite down and frustrated but we went to Shrewsbury who were top of the league and took a point off them," said Dack.

"I said at the time that we could make it a good point by beating Rotherham and Gillingham on Saturday so obviously we are halfway to doing that.

"I think you could see with the way we performed, especially in the first half, that it was probably the best we have played all season.

"That has set the standard now for what we've got to continue to do at home.

"The only complaint from the gaffer was that we weren't clinical enough in front of goal. We were very unlucky, Dom hit the bar and post, I had a couple of chances, Marcus had a chance.

"So I'm sure that will come, we've just got to keep working hard on the training ground on our finishing.
