Elliott Bennett hopes to reward the travelling faithful with another three points this afternoon.

Rovers will be backed by a sellout 1500 fans at the Montgomery Waters Meadow as they take on league leaders Shrewsbury Town.

The Rovers midfielder feels the fans backing really does help the team on their travels and wants to send them home happy once more.

"You only have to look at the away following that we had at Rochdale, Scunthorpe and Bradford to show that the fans are willing to travel to support us," he said.

"It is all about making sure that we can send them home happier more often than not.

"When people are looking out for you, wanting you to do well, wanting the best for you, when you've got that added support behind you it always helps.

"When we are taking as many as we are away from home it also becomes a bit more like a home atmosphere for us and takes away that little edge that other teams think they have."
