Bradley Dack hopes his injury worries are over and that he can now have a long run in the side.
The summer signing from Gillingham has had a stop-start beginning to his Rovers career having been troubled by a niggling hamstring strain.
But after returning to action with substitute appearances against Rochdale and Scunthorpe, and getting an hour under his belt last Saturday against AFC Wimbledon, the attacking midfielder feels he is now ready to start.
"It has been a little bit frustrating with the niggles picked up with my hamstring," Dack told iFollow Rovers.
"But hopefully the problem is now all sorted, I've had a couple of weeks rehab on it and I'm feeling ready to start.
"I had a full pre-season under my belt and didn't pick up anything and then you go into the first game and you just feel it a little bit. I managed to get back but then I felt it again so it was frustrating.
"But now the problem is all sorted, so hopefully I can kick on now."
Rovers are back in action this weekend when they take on league leaders Shrewsbury Town at the Montgomery Waters Meadow.
Rovers' ticket allocation for this match has sold out.
