Rovers boss Tony Mowbray was delighted to see Marcus Antonsson get on the scoresheet once more.

The on-loan Swede followed up his first goal in Rovers colours at the weekend, with a volleyed winner against Scunthorpe United on Tuesday night. Securing a fourth win in succession.

The manager was pleased to see Antonsson amongst the goals once again, as reward for his tireless work on the pitch.

"I'm delighted for him because he works his socks off for the team," said Mowbray.

"The goal was what we had been talking to him about, not getting across the front of the defenders, standing off the back.

"The defender didn't want to touch him and he finished it.

"He has lots still to improve on in his game, but it is great that he has scored some goals and great for his confidence.

"Hopefully he'll keep on getting better."

Antonsson and Rovers are back in action this Saturday when AFC Wimbledon are the visitors to Ewood Park.

Tickets are currently on open sale priced from just £20 for Adults, from £13 Seniors/18-21yrs, from £7 for Under-18s and from £5 for Under-12s.
