Ben Gladwin will miss tomorrow night's match with Rotherham United due to injury.

The midfielder picked up a minor thigh injury in training on Friday, which forced his absence from the squad at the weekend against Shrewsbury, and will do likewise this Tuesday night at Ewood.

Boss Tony Mowbray doesn't believe the injury is serious, and hopes he can be back within the week.

"Ben has got a thigh strain, he picked it up on Friday in training," revealed the manager.

"I hope it is precautionary, but he won't be ready for this one.

"It is a slight muscle strain so it is going to be at least a week to ten days just to settle it down. It isn't a serious injury, it is just a strain.

"It is unfortunate for him because he has a fantastic application for having not played so many minutes recently. He is still staying very positive in the group and training hard. I'm sure his opportunity will be just around the corner for him.

"It won't be long, if not the weekend then it might be the Tuesday night in the Checkatrade Trophy I suppose."

Tickets for Tuesday's match are currently on open sale, with prices from just £18 for Adults, from £11 Seniors/18-21yrs, from £6 for Under-18s and from £4 for Under-12s.
