Harry Chapman was delighted that his first goal for the club helped secure all three points on Tuesday night.

The on-loan star came off the bench to strike late at Ewood Park and ensure a 2-0 victory over Rotherham United.

Chapman felt the performance was needed after the disappointing display at Shrewsbury last time out, but that they really should have had more goals to show for their domination.

"I've come on and made an impact and I'm just happy to get that first goal and most importantly we've got the three points," said the attacker.

"The goal was massive, they were trying to pile on the pressure, they had had a goal disallowed, but the second goal just eased the pressure.

"It was a great response. We needed to bounce back after last week's performance. In the first half we totally outclassed them, we played them off the park. They didn't have many chances, I don't think they were in our half much.

"In the second half they piled on a bit more pressure, but we were comfortable and our class showed in the end.

"We've shown that our home form isn't as bad as everybody makes out. We are a lot more confident than the fans think. We are here to win football matches and that is what we are doing.

"I'd love to get my first start now, and just kick on, keep scoring more, and hopefully get another three points on Saturday."

Chapman and Rovers are back at Ewood this Saturday when Gillingham are the visitors.
