Rovers' development squad are in Premier League 2 action this Sunday when they take on Norwich City's Under-23s at Carrow Road.

Damien Johnson's side will be looking to get back to winning ways after tasting defeat for the first time this campaign last time out against Middlesbrough.

The Under-23s had started the season well, winning their opening three league games, but they came unstuck against Boro, going down 3-1 at Ewood Park.

"When they had won three games they had a lot of nice things said about them," said Johnson. "So it is going to be a good test of how they respond to that.

"We've had a little setback and the thing for me now is can we learn from it and go again on Sunday. That is what we’ll be looking to do."

The Canaries have had a mixed bag of results so far this season.

They lost their first two matches to Brighton and Middlesbrough, but have since defeated Stoke City and drawn with Newcastle United.

Kick-off at Carrow Road is at 2.00pm.
