Another challenge for us

Tony Mowbray is anticipating another stern test for his side when they take on Rotherham United at Ewood Park this Tuesday night.

For the Rovers are coming up against a Rotherham side that are the top scorers in League One.

The Millers have notched 20 goals from their opening nine league games, including five in the win over Oldham Athletic at the weekend.

So Mowbray knows that his side will have to be mindful of the attacking threat that they pose, whilst at the same time ensuring they cause the opposition problems of their own.

"It is another tough match against a very athletic team," said the Rovers boss.

"They are the second highest scorers in the country behind Manchester City.

"So there is the challenge for us, to see if we can nullify that and then ask some questions of them.

"They generally play 4-1-4-1. They have one huge striker up front and have got four very fast and mobile footballers behind him. Wingers and two central midfield players who break very quickly into the box.

"So they attack with five and defend with five generally. So we have to manage the game if we can.

"But they are a threat, and we have to be aware of that threat, try and see that off and ask questions going the other way."
