Tony Mowbray believes new signing Rekeem Harper will light up the training ground, both on and off the pitch.
The West Brom wonderkid made the move to Rovers on deadline day, joining on a season-long loan.
The 17-year-old is tipped for a bright future in the game, having made his Premier League debut for the Baggies on the opening day of the season.
Despite his tender years, Mowbray believes Harper is a top talent - and has a bouyant personality to match.
"The reports I've had from the scouting department and the people I trust in football have told me what a fantastic talent he is," said the Rovers boss.
"He's played in West Brom's first team in the Premier League, but he is such a tender age.
"You can see that when you meet him, even though he's a giant of a boy, he's very young. He's bubbly, he looks extremely athletic and when you watch him play, he seems to be all over the pitch.
"He's an exciting project for us and for him we hope. He's coming here to play some football and enjoy himself and show everybody his talent.
"I'm delighted he's here. I know he'll light up the training ground with his personality and enthusiasm. He's a very humble boy, but hugely talented.
"I'm looking forward to see how he integrates into the group."
