Tony Mowbray's Rovers will be looking stretch their unbeaten run on the road to four matches when they take on Shrewsbury Town this afternoon.
Having inflicted first home defeats of the season on Bradford City, Rochdale and Scunthorpe United, Rovers will be eager to add the Shrews to their list of scalps.
Mowbray believes today's opponents will pose a different kind of threat to the sides they've already faced this campaign, but insists Rovers are more than capable of getting another positive result.
"I think they are a totally different team from the likes of Scunthorpe or Bradford, said Mowbray. "They have got their results in totally different ways.
"But, they've have found a way that wins, it is working for them at the moment.
"It is a game that we have prepared for, one that we'll hopefully be guarded against their strengths and see if we can get the victory."
Mowbray has been impressed with the start that the Shrews have made, sitting three points clear at the top of League One with seven wins from their opening eight matches.
He added: "I don't think anybody would have had Shrewsbury unbeaten for eight games and at the top of the league having won seven of them.
"It is a fantastic start for them and a good test for us. It is a challenge for us, we've got our own aspirations.
"We are only seven games in, it is very early, lets just keep going, take on the next challenge and look forward to every game.
"We've been to a couple of grounds away from home and won games against teams who have been undefeated up until that point, so lets see if we can go and do it again."
