Rovers defender Ryan Nyambe says there's a feel-good factor in the squad going into Saturday's game against Wigan, and believes the Blues can get a result from the game.
Nyambe has made four league appearances this season, and helped Rovers to an impressive 3-0 win over Portsmouth last time out.
The 19-year-old says the victory has given the players a timely boost ahead of the weekend, and is confident of another performance at the DW Stadium.
"There's a good buzz in the dressing room now," he said. "We're all pleased and just looking forward to the Wigan game.
"We had a good win at the weekend and I think we needed it. Now, our confidence is up ahead of another big game against Wigan on Saturday.
"Can we go there and get something? Of course. I think we should be aiming to be at the top of the league because we want promotion.
"We just have to apply ourselves properly and get through Saturday."
Asked about his emergence and how others at the club have helped him, Nyambe added: "It's great to play alongside people like Paul Downing and Charlie Mulgrew.
"They have a great partnership this season and lead from the back, so we try to follow their example. They inspire us and get us going.
"And that's the same with the fans - they get us through a lot, to be fair. Being on the pitch and hearing them roaring gets us up and gives us that bit of energy.
"I just want to prove myself to them, keep improving and play as many games as I can."
