Rovers to host Barnet in FA Cup

The League Two strugglers will visit Ewood Park in the first round proper

Rovers have been drawn at home to League Two side Barnet in the first round of the FA Cup.

The tie will take place at Ewood Park over the weekend of November 3rd-6th 2017.

The game against the Bees, who currently lie in 21st position in the League Two table, will be the first ever meeting between the two teams.

Rovers reached the fifth round of the competition last season, before suffering a narrow 2-1 defeat at home to Manchester United, whilst Barnet lost 3-0 away to Shrewsbury Town at the first round stage.
