Rovers Ladies stretched their unbeaten run in the league to 26 games as they ran out 3-1 winners at home to Guiseley Vixens on Sunday.
The first half saw Rovers start quickly, earning their reward when a long goal-kick released Alex Taylor in on goal, and she rounded the keeper to open the scoring.
Despite the bright start, chances would be few and far between for both sides in the first half. But just before the break Chelsey Jukes got forward from full-back to find herself in the box, and she cooly drilled low into the bottom corner.
The second half saw Guiseley come into the match, posing the Rovers Ladies much more of a threat.
And their persistance paid off on the hour mark when a low cross into the Rovers box was diverted into the back of her own net by Kayleigh McDonald.
Moments later the Yorkshire side were a whisker away from getting back on level terms. A deflected shot beat Danielle Hill in the Rovers goal, but the ball flashed just the wrong side of the upright.
After that strong spell of play by the Vixens, Rovers ended the match the better of the two sides. Natasha Fenton saw a free-kick tipped onto the bar, before Saffron Jordan wrapped up the points a minute from time to make it four wins from four in the league.
