Hannah Fryer is relishing the challenge of playing new opponents Guiseley Vixens on Sunday.
The defender believes the newly-promoted opposition are going through an exciting time, so the Rovers will have to be ready.
“I think all the girls are up for it,” said Fryer.
“Guiseley have come into the league this season and with the new era they’re having, it’s an exciting time for them.
“We take the challenge for what it is, and look forward to playing new opposition. Playing a new team always provides a challenge but the girls will be ready for that on Sunday.”
Having played just three times in the league this season, Rovers sit three points off top, but with two games in hand over leaders Middlesbrough.
But Fryer says that last season’s experience will help the team cope with the challenge of playing catch up.
“I think when you look at the table it looks good for us, we are confident,” she added.
“We were in a similar position last year playing catch up, we rose to that challenge and we’re confident that we can play catch up and over-take teams as we go,”
Sunday’s match will take place at Accrington & Rossendale College. Kick-off is at 2.00pm
