Blackburn Rovers are pleased to announce the club have agreed to sponsor tee number four at Pleasington Golf Club and extend the long history between the two.
We know a number of you love Rovers and the game of golf, with plenty of Rovers supporters also being members at Pleasington. The partnership will also mean a golf day will be arranged for some point TBC in 2018, with details to be announced once the schedule is confirmed.
A delighted Rovers Business Development Manager Danny Davis said: “This is a great fit for Blackburn Rovers in supporting and working with Pleasington Golf Club, which helps us to engage with a wide variety of supporters who have a passion for golf as well as Rovers.
“The history between us and Pleasington goes back a long way and Jack Walker actually assisted in the building of a the clubhouse a great number of years ago.
“My golf game needs sharpening up, so I’ll definitely be visiting Pleasington at some point in the near future."
Pleasington Golf Club General Manager Ryan O’Connor added: “The Golf Club is really moving forward with a number of initiatives including our Business Partnership Scheme, we are proud to have engaged with Blackburn Rovers on this basis and look forward to building this relationship over the coming months and years.
