Christmas came early for a number of lucky Rovers fans who visited the club shop today.
For they were served in the Roverstore by former Premier League title-winner Chris Sutton.
Working as an ambassador for The Sportsman, Sutton took up his position behind the counter and surprised supporters by paying for all of their Christmas gifts!
First up was Danielle Berry, from Lower Darwen, who was purchasing presents for her dad, who had just been released from hospital.
An overwhelmed Danielle, who was almost reduced to tears when Sutton told her that The Sportsman would be covering the cost, said: "This has made my Christmas!"
And there was a further festive treat in store, as the visiting supporters also got to have their photo taken with the ex-England striker and the Premier League trophy, which Sutton won with Rovers in 1994-95.
