Elliott Bennett's goal for Rovers against Blackpool has been nominated for the Northwest Football Awards Championship Goal of the Year for 2016-17.
Bennett's stunning strike at Ewood Park in January is among nine contenders for the prize, with Manchester United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Manchester City's Vincent Kompany and Liverpool's Emre Can also on the list.
Elliott's nomination follows the news of Blues defender Derrick Williams being shortlisted for Championship Player of the Year.
The winners of both awards will be announced at the Northwest Football Awards on Monday November 13th at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford.
