Facilities at the Academy are set to be revamped thanks to the generosity of the Blackburn Rovers 100 Club.
Members of the 100 Club presented Academy Manager Stuart Jones with a cheque for £11,000 at our last home game against Bristol Rovers.
The money will be put towards a refurb of the Academy Lounge, new nets on two of the pitches and the purchase of equipment for the analysis department.
The 100 Club was formed in the 1970s and has developed a close relationship with the Academy over recent years, making numerous donations to benefit and support the club’s young stars of the future.
Stuart Jones said: “The support from the 100 Club has been fantastic over the years and enabled the Academy to enhance our facilities and have a real impact on our programme.
"We are delighted with the relationship that has evolved and look forward to continuing this in the years to come, which can be beneficial for all.”
