Marvin Emnes has thanked the Rovers fans for his enjoyable time at the club.
The 28-year-old Dutchman spent virtually the entire season at Ewood Park, joining for two separate loan spells from Swansea City.
The forward made 37 appearances, scoring four goals, including a memorable winner at home to Wigan Athletic, which came second in the club’s Goal of the Season competition.
Emnes said: “I appreciated the support from the fans and everyone around the club.
“I enjoyed my time at Blackburn Rovers from the first minute until the last.
“It was good to get some game time again and I have to thank Blackburn Rovers for that.
“We made it difficult for ourselves, as our squad was too good for what happened to us. We will see what the future brings, but again thank you for the support. The only way is up!”
