Rovers Ladies ended their title-winning season unbeaten after a 2-2 draw with Stoke City at Ewood on Sunday.
The Ladies finished with a fine record of 17 wins and just three draws to set themselves up for their league play-off against Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the month.
The Potters stunned the hosts by going in front early, but it was Rovers who lead by the break thanks to goals from Faye McCoy and Ella Toone.
However the Blues couldn't hold on for the victory as Stoke scored late to earn a share of the spoils.
Under sunny skies at Ewood it was the champions who fashioned the first chance of the game but McCoy saw her low shot well saved by Tilly Hall.
But whilst Rovers continued to press for the opener, it was the visitors who struck first in the 18th minute.
Potters' prolific striker Ashleigh Hayes latched on to a loose ball in the box and found the top corner with a fantastic strike.
But the home side weren't behind too long, stepping up their game to devastating effect. And on the half hour they got their reward when Saffron Jordan picked out McCoy with a perfect cross and the midfielder volleyed home emphatically.
Just three minutes later the match was turned around. Toone took on her marker before curling a wonderful effort into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Rovers should have extended their lead in the second half. Toone dragged an effort wide, before Jordan was denied by Hill when through on goal.
But despite Rovers' dominance it was Stoke who made it 2-2 a minute from time. A ball over the top found Rachael Ball running into the area and she fired home.
Rovers did find the net again as Alex Taylor played square for Toone, but she was adjuged to have been offside by the referee’s assistant.
Then Taylor herself went through on goal, only to sky her effort in the dying seconds of the game.
