Alex completes charity challenge!

3 May 2017

Season ticket holder Alex Hook was a special guest on the pitch at Rovers’ final home game against Aston Villa after completing a charity hand-cycle challenge.

Alex, who has Cerebral Palsy, cycled 170 miles over a five-day period, visiting every EFL club in the North West in aid of Blackburn Community Sports Club.

The final leg of his fundraising tour brought him to Ewood Park, where he was given a warm Rovers reception as he made his way out onto the hallowed turf at half-time.

Alex has been a member of Blackburn Community Sports Club’s disability section since 2005 and is now attempting to repay the £3,500 funding the Club gave him last year for a new hand-cycle.
