We'll come back stronger

Jason Lowe firmly believes Rovers should have collected more points from their recent run of games.

Whilst the midfielder was delighted that the team were able to head into the international break unbeaten in their last seven outings, there's frustration that they weren't able to include more wins in the run.

But the Rovers captain hopes that during the enforced break from matches that the squad can get some good work done on the training ground under new boss Tony Mowbray to allow them to rise up the table.

"The unbeaten run continues but we know that we need to start picking up wins," Lowe told Radio Rovers.

"The Norwich game, Preston, maybe Burton away the way we played we could have picked up more points with really good displays.

"So we know it is in there, we know we can do it, but we need to find the formula to just make lives a little bit easier for ourselves.

"We'll analyse it over the break and hopefully come back stronger for it and go and try and get some victories.

"We aren't giving ourselves the best chance by now keeping clean sheets. I think we need to do better on that first and foremost. But the way in which we are playing and the form that we have hit towards the end under the circumstances is testament.

"There is a really good group in there and hopefully we can get the other side of the line and I'm confident that we can."

Rovers fans who haven't yet purchased tickets for the match against Brighton & Hove Albion are advised to act fast.

Following the international break Tony Mowbray's side visit the American Express Community Stadium for a clash against the Seagulls on Saturday 1st April - kick-off 3.00pm.

Away tickets are selling well for the game on the south coast, and with home areas now all sold out, there will be no sales on the day at the ground, so advance purchase will be required.
