Team news from Ewood Park as Rovers take on Cardiff City...

Tony Mowbray has named an unchanged line-up for the third consecutive match.

The Rovers boss has kept faith with the same starting eleven that has recorded back-to-back wins at Ewood Park.

The only change comes on the bench as Hope Akpan returns in place of Willem Tomlinson.

Tonight's visitors have made three changes from their weekend loss at Queens Park Rangers.

Into the side come Joe Bennett, Petter Whittingham and Greg Halford as Craig Noone drops to the bench and Matthew Connolly and Aron Gunnarsson miss out. Cardiff only have six named substitutes.

Former Rovers youngster Junior Hoilett starts for the Bluebirds.

ROVERS: Steele, Nyambe, Lenihan, Mulgrew, Williams, Feeney, Lowe (c), Guthrie, Conway, Emnes, Gallagher.

Subs: Raya (GK), Hoban, Graham, Joao, Akpan, Mahoney, Bennett.

CARDIFF: McGregor, Bennett, Morrison (c), Richards, Ralls, Whittingham, Bamba, Halford, K. Harris, Zohore, Hoilett.

Subs not used: Murphy (GK), Noone, John, Pilkington, Meite, M. Harris.
