Rovers Ladies will clinch the Women's Premier League north title if they can avoid defeat this Sunday - kick-off 2.00pm.

Gemma Donnelly's side need just a point from their home match with Derby County to ensure an end of season championship decider against the winners of the southern division.

Despite being unbeaten throughout their league campaign to date, Donnelly knows it won't be easy against the third-placed Rams.

"We are going into this confident and if we play as we usually do we should get a positive result from it," said the Ladies boss.

"But Derby have always been difficult to play against and I'm expecting nothing less this weekend.

"However, we must concentrate on us, ensure our game as a whole is perfect. That approach hasn't failed us this season. The dream has almost become a reality, and we have a few games to do it in.

"The girls have set out their targets for the remainder of the season, and as much as it would be wonderful to win the title so early on, it is just another game and about ensuring that we can look ahead to a championship play-off game at the end of the season."

Rovers fans can see Sunday's match at the Tom Finney Stadium, Bamber Bridge for free on production of their season ticket cards. General admission prices for the 2.00pm kick off are £3 Adults, £1 Concessions.

Fans unable to get to the game can follow live updates on Twitter @RoversLadies.
