Following on from the success of last year's camps, coaches put another group of young hopefuls through their paces in a series of coaching sessions.
Over the past three weeks budding keepers from ages 7 through to 14 put on their gloves at the Senior Training Centre, with a record number of over 80 local goalkeepers through the doors.
"The goalkeepers were involved in a variety of goalkeeping exercises and we were delighted with the standard on show," said goalkeeping coach Ben Benson.
"We see these open evenings as a vital part of our Academy goalkeeping program and we are delighted with the amount of local goalkeepers who are regularly attending to gain an insight into how our Academy goalkeepers operate.
"We now have a very thorough goalkeeping development pathway and some of the players from the open evenings will be integrated into our Academy training and shadow squad training programs respectively.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents and players for their involvement and continued support.
"Our next set of open evenings are already being planned for October 2017 so we look forward to seeing you again then."
