Boss Tony Mowbray has paid tribute to the backing the side have received in recent games and hopes it continues tonight against Cardiff.

In Mowbray's first three matches as the club's new head coach he has been overwhelmed by the support that he and the side have received.

The new man firmly believes that the Rovers supporters have played their part in picking up seven points from a possible nine and hopes for more of the same at Ewood this evening.

"I've enjoyed it immensely," the boss told Rovers PlayerHD.

"I think the fans have got us over the line in the last two games at home when it has been tough in the last 20 minutes.

"For no reason other than encouraging their team, they have been very very vocal, which shows me that they've got a passion for their football club and they are very much with their team.

"They are very supportive of the lads who pull the jersey on and that is a huge boost for the players to feel that from the supporters that we are all in it together.

"Hopefully we win, but if we have to lose together then we stick together and move onto the next game."

Tickets for tonight's match are on open sale up to the 7.45pm kick-off priced from just £18 Adults, £12 Seniors/18-21 year-olds, and from £7 for Juniors aged 17 and under.
