Elliott Bennett is anticipating another tough away task when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion this Saturday.
Yet the midfielder believes that the side are playing well and feels there is no reason why they can't take on the promotion-chasing Seagulls and come away with a positive result.
Bennett thinks Rovers can draw on the way they performed on the road in the recent matches against Fulham and Norwich to help maintain their unbeaten run.
"Every game in this league is difficult but if we can continue the performance levels that we've been putting in under the gaffer I'm sure the points will come," he said.
"Obviously that is the main thing, to get them points on the board, we've got two tough away games but no-one gave us a chance going to Norwich and Fulham where we should have come away with four points from those two games."
Bennett comes up against one of his former clubs at the weekend, having spent two months on loan at the south coast two years ago. But whilst he is delighted to see them do well, there'll be no favours this Saturday.
"Brighton have had a fantastic season, they've had to build that club up and it is credit that they are doing well," added the midfielder.
"But there's no friends when I go down there, I'll be looking to take all three points from them. They have their own agenda but our agenda is the most important to me, so we'll go there looking to win the game and there's no reason why we can't do that.
"So we'll work hard and look forward and really attack the last eight games of the season and try and get some wins."
Fans are reminded that with home areas now all sold out, there will be no sales on the day at Brighton, so advance purchase will be required.
