Fantastic fans once again

15 March 2017

Tony Mowbray was full of admiration for the support the side received at Craven Cottage on Tuesday night.

Over 700 fans made the long journey south to see Rovers earn a share of the points in a pulsating 2-2 draw with play-off chasing Fulham, with the manager delighted that their endeavours were rewarded.

"We've had fantastic support once again as you've seen, a lot of people of travelled," said Mowbray.

"It was very evident tonight the support that the players on the pitch received, and the players showed their appreciation at the end of the game for the people who had travelled a long way to come and support them.

"I try and create an environment where players can flourish and supporters can see the effort is coming in and I think fans only want to see their team giving everything they've got and hopefully they felt that tonight."

Rovers are back in action this Saturday when Preston North End are the visitors to Ewood Park.
