Sam Gallagher is looking forward to another special atmosphere at Ewood Park when Rovers take on Preston North End at 1pm on Saturday.
The Rovers striker has been impressed with the backing that the fans have given in recent weeks and hopes for more of the same when they face the Lilywhites at Ewood Park.
The Blues go into the game full of confidence off the back of tough away draws at Norwich and Fulham, with Gallagher anticipating a good game between the local rivals.
"It is going to be a good game, it is an important one for both teams as always," the striker told Rovers PlayerHD.
"We are looking forward to going into it, confidence is high, especially after the previous three home games we've had. There's been a great feel around the stadium and the fans have been right behind us and we are looking forward to another atmosphere like that.
"We look forward to every game but especially a big home game like this and with the derby that it is it will be a good one."
Gallagher has missed the last two Rovers outings with a slight hamstring strain, but having come through a couple of training sessions, the young forward has declared himself fit and available.
But he knows that he'll have to keep working hard to come straight back into the starting eleven with plenty of competition for places in the attacking areas.
"I'm all good now, I've trained the last two days so I'm feeling good so we'll see," he added.
"The competition for places always helps. It helps push each other on and helps you improve and makes you want to get better to get your place in that team. So that is what I am looking to do now."
