Community inclusion officer wanted

Blackburn Rovers Community Trust are creating an exciting new opportunity for a community inclusion officer to expand their reach to even more residents within our area.

Applications are being invited now for the planned post, which seeks a candidate with the required enthusiasm, charisma and dedication to help us extend our work to even more demographic groups, especially with the BAME community within the town and its surroundings.
 
The Community Trust already deliver an extensive range of over 40 projects to a diverse range of local residents of all ages and backgrounds, but our incoming candidate will be tasked with ensuring that the key components of our BAME engagement strategy are implemented, ensuring that potential participants from this background are better aware of our many sport, health, education and social inclusion opportunities.
 
The right candidate will also be tasked with helping us to strengthen or create partnerships with relevant organisations, helping us to enhance the connection between Blackburn Rovers and the key players in our local community and economy, as well as helping to create and deliver a citizenship project.
