Elton John crew arrive at Ewood

Preparations for Saturday’s Elton John concert at Ewood Park are now underway.

The touring crew, which comprises of 30 technicians, eight truck drivers and four bus drivers, arrived on site at 8am this morning. 

Work will continue throughout the week, with the stage set to take up its position in front of The Riverside stand over the coming days.
The pop icon is performing his first ever show in Blackburn as part of his worldwide Wonderful Crazy Night Tour.
Taking to the stage on the hallowed Ewood Park pitch, Elton will perform songs from his latest studio album ‘Wonderful Crazy Night’, as well as his most-loved hits from his stellar career.
Tickets for the summer spectacular, which will be one of the music events of the year, are still available to purchase from the Ticketmaster website.
