Tony Mowbray took centre stage at a hugely successful Business Breakfast event held at Ewood Park this morning.
The Rovers boss spoke for over an hour to the invited corporate guests, who were left entertained and engrossed by the manager’s open and honest responses.
Speaking with great passion and pride, Mowbray covered a range of Rovers-related topics, varying from his trip to India to meet the Owners, the club’s recruitment and Academy setups, life in League One and his desire to keep hold of the club’s key contracted players.
Rovers’ Business Development Manager Danny Davis said: “We can’t thank Tony enough for taking time out from what is obviously a very busy time for him – juggling the start of pre-season training with having to answer countless phone calls from agents – and it was a real pleasure to listen to his views on all things Rovers for so long.
“The whole room was captivated and clearly very appreciative of his candid answers and amusing anecdotes, which was great to see. The mood around the club is currently extremely positive and Tony’s motivational footballing manner has played a huge part in that.
“We have the majority of our seasonal clients already signed up for next season, with many more expected to follow suit. A lot of supporters and businesses I speak to are really looking forward to the upcoming campaign and can’t wait for it to start.
“We have a few more initiatives in the pipeline, which we will roll out in the coming weeks, as we look to work hand-in-hand with the local business community, strengthening existing links and forming new friendships with supporters and stakeholders.”
