Rovers are on course to surpass last season’s Season Ticket total following encouraging Early Bird sales.

Over 7,500 fans have so far signed up for the 2017-18 season, after taking advantage of the club’s price freeze promotion, which was extended until July 1st.

Rovers manager Tony Mowbray was delighted to learn of the bumper backing his side will receive during the upcoming campaign and hopes further signings will attract even more fans back to Ewood Park.

He said: “Hopefully it's indicative of the fact that we've seen support for me, regarding the signings and being able to retain our players from last season. We now have to try and get the team together as we aim towards the start of the season and then get off a good start.

“We will do our best and hopefully it’s an enjoyable season for everybody who is going to invest in coming and supporting their team.

“For me, we have to try and make the team exciting for the fans on paper, so they look at the signings and want to come along and watch. Then, when they do come along and watch, we play entertaining winning football and they want to come back.

“I understand some people are waiting, because it's still early. Some people will want to wait and see what the team might look like and if they think that they want to come along, then great.

“The more we've got in the stadium, the more support the players have got, obviously it helps. A partisan crowd at any home stadium is really, really important, as we saw on numerous occasions at the end of the season – the crowd driving the team on to get a result.

“So hopefully we can get a few more new signings. We’re very conscious we need to fill up the top end of the pitch, where the goals are going to come from, and we're trying hard to do that and hopefully people will make their minds up and want to come and support the club.”

Rovers Director Mike Cheston also praised the response to the great-value Early Bird offer, saying: “We're delighted to say that we are now in a position of having sold over 7,500 season tickets, which is already very close to last year’s total.

“It is a reflection of the ongoing optimism around the club and we are very appreciative of the support that has been shown for the season ahead.

“It is a clear sign that the fanbase is right behind the manager and they can see what he is trying to do in the transfer market. We are all looking forward to the new season, so let's hope even more people buy or renew and we can continue this momentum.

“Finally, it's also been extremely encouraging that over 1,200 fans have bought into the new ‘1875 Club’ membership scheme, especially as it was only launched earlier this summer. Fans will start to see the benefits of that over the coming weeks and we hope that even more people will sign up.”

Having been taken off sale following Saturday’s Early Bird deadline, season tickets are now back on sale at the new prices, which are listed in full below.

For fans who are yet to buy or renew, there are still great savings to be made on matchday prices, with adult season tickets starting from £319 in the Riverside Stand – that’s less than £14 per game and the equivalent of seven free games.

Concessions can purchase a 2017-18 season ticket from just £199 – that’s less than £9 per game – whilst ages 12-17 can watch all of next season’s action unfold from just £90 – that’s less than £4 per game.

The club are delighted to confirm that Under-8s can continue to watch for FREE in the Family Stand, providing they are accompanied by a paying adult, and prices for ages 0-11 remain frozen at just £60 – that’s less than £3 per game!

As part of the season ticket campaign, the club have introduced a personalised ‘My Rovers’ website for all supporters to purchase their 2017-18 season ticket.

All supporters who buy or renew will also be able to benefit from generating Club Cash, which can be spent on retail items and other special promotions throughout the campaign.

The club have also launched an official supporters membership scheme – the 1875 Club – which will entitle members to special benefits which include increased levels of Club Cash, the chance to play on Ewood Park, visits to the training ground, exclusive events and much more!
