Dominic Samuel could be given his first Rovers run out this evening when they take on Grimsby Town.
The young striker wasn't involved in last Friday's win over Morecambe having only just arrived at the club, but he could get some minutes under his belt tonight at Blundell Park.
Craig Conway and Ryan Nyambe both missed the match at the Globe Arena due to minor knocks but could return, whilst Corry Evans, who took a kick to the ankle against the Shrimps may sit this one out.
"I hope on Tuesday that Dominic will be getting a run out, not for very long, we have to manage the situation with him," said the Rovers boss.
"He's not done a lot this pre-season.
"Hopefully Ryan will be closer to play and Craig needs a game as well, and he won't be far away.
"But there are no point taking any risks, Corry picked up a little knock on his ankle, but we have others in that area."
Danny Graham struck his third goal in four pre-season outings on Friday, with the boss pleased to see last season's top scorer amongst the goals so soon.
"It was good for Danny to get so long on the pitch – he's working ever so hard and it was great for him to score a goal," he added.
"Hopefully we will see his name on the scoresheet a lot this season."
Rovers supporters will be accommodated in the Osmond End at Blundell Park this evening and can gain admission by paying cash at turnstiles 15–18 on Harrington Street.
Admission prices are £10 for Adults, and £5 for Concessions (65 and over, Under-18s).
