Rovers' Under-18s left it late to earn a share of the spoils on Tuesday with a 1-1 draw at Carlisle United.

After a loss and a victory in their opening pre-season friendlies, Billy Barr's struck in the final moments to claim a draw over the Cumbrians.

Rovers had the better of the first half with the woodwork rattled on two occasions, but it was the home side who grabbed the opening goal after the break through Liam McCarron.

But Rovers struck in the final moments from the penalty spot. John Buckley making no mistake from 12-yards after a foul in the box.

The Under-18s are back in action this Saturday at Brockhall when they play Blackpool - kick-off 11.00am.
