Tony Mowbray believes there'll be further progress on the transfer front in the very near future.
Having already completed deals for four new arrivals this summer, the Rovers boss is now closing in on a fifth.
Speaking after Saturday's 2-1 win over Barrow, Mowbray stressed the need to add to his striking options at the club, and hopes to conclude a deal in the coming days.
"Hopefully I'll have at least one flying out to join us in Austria," said the manager.
"We're just working away behind the scenes, as we have all summer. We're trying to add them bit by bit. It's never easy, particularly early on in the window.
"I think we're probably looking at one more permanent signing and then we'll look to add some young, high-quality footballers from the Premier League to beef our squad up a little bit.
"As I've said before, you need to have an underbelly. You need to have your own players. You can't build a team just on loans, so we've been trying to add players to the squad who will help us this season.
"We're obviously short at the front end of the pitch, because we've only really got Danny Graham, but hopefully we'll have one added this week and then two or three more to fill in around the pitch."
