Tre Pemberton would love to enjoy another high when Rovers youngsters take on Aston Villa in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup this Wednesday evening.
For the winger readily admits that last season's tie against Villa is the highlight so far of his fledgling career.
Pemberton, who turned 18 earlier this month, scored a dramatic injury-time winner over this evening's opponents to see them progress through to the quarter-finals.
Despite dominating the match at Villa Park, Rovers were heading towards extra-time and a possible penalty shootout if the scoreline remained at 1-1, but after Lewis Mansell saw his initial effort saved, Pemberton was on hand to lash home the rebound from outside the box to spark jubilant scenes.
"I have very good memories," the attacker told Rovers PlayerHD. "When that ball left my foot and hit the back of the net it was the best feeling I've had as a scholar easily. I couldn't believe it at the time.
"It gave us a massive lift and put on us on a huge high for the back end of the season."
Rovers went on to reach the semi-finals before being knocked out by eventual winners Chelsea over two legs. And they've started this years competition confidently after defeating Arsenal 1-0 away from home in their opening round.
"A lot of people doubted that we could get the result down there but we always believed we could get through," added Pemberton.
"It has given us a massive confidence boost, everyone is talking about the Villa game now.
"Playing at Ewood is massive, all the players are looking forward to being on the main stage in front of the home fans. Hopefully I can get another goal, it would be the icing on the cake for me."
Admission prices for this evening's match are just £4 for Adults and £2 Concessions. Season tickets are not valid for this competition.
