Owen Coyle is expecting Gianfranco Zola's Birmingham City to prove to be tough opposition when they arrive at Ewood Park tomorrow afternoon.
For the Rovers boss has been impressed with the additions that the Midlanders have made to their squad in recent weeks.
Coyle believes they'll be a different proposition to the side they faced at St. Andrew's back in October, but the manager knows that if Rovers can perform to the best of their ability then they are more than capable of getting a positive result.
"Birmingham are a very good side," Coyle told Rovers PlayerHD. "Gianfranco, who is someone I know, has come in and they are maybe playing a little more than they used to but equally they will still be a difficult team to beat as they have always been.
"I think they have got some very good players and they have invested in their squad. They've signed Lukas Jutkiewicz for a million, they signed Emilio Nsue from Middlesbrough, they've brought Craig Gardner in on loan, so they are certainly splashing the cash.
"So we have to be ready for that knowing that they have brought some very good players to their team.
"But we are at home, we are back at Ewood, and we have shown, like we did against Newcastle, that if we can get to our very best then we know we can get the points."
