Rovers' development squad return to action this Monday evening when they entertain Brighton & Hove Albion at the Lancs FA, Leyland - kick-off 7.00pm.
It is the start of a busy week for Damien Johnson's young charges with another home match on Friday against West Ham United.
The Under-23s will go into tonight's PL2 clash boosted by their comprehensive Premier League Cup victory over Burnley seven days ago when Anthony Stokes and Matty Platt both grabbed two goals a-piece at Morecambe.
But a close match up is expected as when Rovers met Brighton in the corresponding fixture back in October the points were shared in a goalless draw at Crawley Town.
With the first team in action against Leeds at Ewood on Wednesday night, Johnson is expected to name a young squad for this evening's match.
Season ticket holders can see the game for free on production of their season ticket cards. General admission prices are £3 for Adults, £1 Concessions.
Kick-off at the County Ground is at 7.00pm.
