Blackburn Rovers Community Trust's popular football development centres return for 2017 this weekend, with great opportunities for children aged three to 11 to improve their game.
The action re-commences on Friday night at the Blackburn Rovers Indoor Centre on Nuttall Street, with the Girls Player Development Centre for ages six to eight returning from 5pm to 6pm.
Saturday morning proves to be the busiest period, with the day starting with Mini Rovers between 9am and 10am. It's always a wonderful sight, as children aged three to five - many in full Rovers kits - take their first steps in the world of football, learning the basic skills and getting some early game time under their belts.
Further sessions for older children complete the day, with boys aged six to eight and girls aged nine to 11 enjoying their own separate development centres from 10am to 11am. The final hour for boys aged nine to 11 runs from 11am to midday.
Each fun football session costs just £3 per child and goes a long way towards helping them to become the best players that they can be, under the guidance of our FA-qualified coaches. No previous football experience is required, just a desire to learn, have fun and get active with a ball at their feet!
