Rovers can confirm that they have reached a mutual agreement to terminate the contract of midfielder John O'Sullivan.
A product of the club's Academy, the former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international joined Rovers at the age of 15 and went on to make six first team appearances during his time at Ewood Park.
The 23-year-old had most recently completed a loan spell at neighbours Accrington Stanley and had previous temporary spells at Southport, Barnsley, Rochdale and Bury.
The club would like to thank John for his hard work and dedication during his time at Ewood Park and wishes him every success for his future career.
