Sam Gallagher has stressed the importance of making the most of the games coming up to move the team up the table.
Starting with this Saturday's match against Birmingham City, Rovers are at home in their next four matches in the league and cup.
"We've got a good run of games coming," the striker told Rovers PlayerHD.
"We all sat down in a meeting and looked through the games that are coming up and there is no reason why we can't get a good load of points together.
"We definitely feel like it is an important part of the season for us and one that we can make the most of hopefully."
But the striker knows that Rovers will have to cut out the silly mistakes that are proving costly, as shown in last week's 3-2 defeat away at Ipswich Town.
"The performances have still been high in most games," he added. "It is just the way that the goals have come about through individual mistakes that we as a team have been working hard to try and eliminate. That is the thing that has let us down really, it is individual things, the little lapses in concentration have cost us in games like conceding three goals the other day.
"It is the hardest thing to take when you go away from home like we did last week, score two goals and lose 3-2.
"But looking at the string of games coming up this is the period we are looking at to give us that push up the table."
