Jess Holbrook believes confidence in the camp is high ahead of Sunday's match away at Nottingham Forest.
The Ladies go into tomorrow's game off the back of last week's impressive 4-0 victory over Leicester City, but the midfielder knows that there can be no resting on their laurels as Rovers look to put daylight between themselves and the chasing pack at the top of the FA Women's Premier League north.
"Everyone was pleased with the performance against a tough Leicester side," said Holbrook.
"We knew that it was going to be a difficult game and a battle for the three points, and it was. Everyone worked their socks off and that showed in the performance and result.
“We we’re all buzzing with the result but now it’s time to focus on the next game and getting ourselves prepared for it.”
Rovers have met Forest twice this season in the league and cup, with comfortable victories on both occasions, but Holbrook knows that previous results count for nothing.
“Our next game is yet again going to be a tough one. Last time around in the 3-1 win, they gave us a few problems upfront with their pace and clever movement,” she added.
“But we will never take our foot off the pedal, every team we come up against can’t be underestimated. The disappointments from last year spur us on to keep our standards high.”
Kick-off on Sunday is at 2pm in Nottingham. Follow @RoversLadies for live updates.
