An FA Cup match against Queens Park Rangers holds fond memories for Jason Lowe.
For the Rovers captain made his senior debut against the Hoops in the coveted cup competition as a 19-year-old almost six years ago to the day.
Starting the match at Ewood, Lowe and Rovers progressed through to the next round thanks to a second half strike from Junior Hoilett, and he'd love for a similar result tomorrow at Loftus Road.
"It seems like yesterday, I still remember it really well," Lowe told Rovers PlayerHD. "Where the time has gone I really don't know but I have good memories.
"We won, that was the most important thing, but obviously any occasion when you make your debut it's nice and I think you remember it for a very long time.
"For any youngster you've got to go through the ranks and do what is expected and hopefully along the way you get a chance. I got my chance, did reasonably well in the game and the rest just followed and here we are today.
"I've learned a lot thus far but I've still a lot to learn, I've fond memories from then and I'm happy where I'm at now.
"I'm enjoying my time back playing now so hopefully we can get a positive result this weekend."
