Liam Feeney discovered a youthful enclave of Rovers support in a nearby village when he went to Mellor St Mary's C of E Primary School in support of Premier League Primary Stars.
The winger's second school visit of the season on behalf of the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust project was warmly received by the pupils from the small village to the north of Blackburn, with a large percentage proclaiming their passion for Rovers - though one did give us a reminder of the times by passionately declaring his support for Leicester City!
Feeney made the trip in order to undertake a question and answer session with years five and six before seeing the younger year groups taking part in a dance class led by Community Trust tutors - all of which followed on from classroom and PE work delivered by our official charity's team with the support of the Premier League.
A meet and greet and autograph session in the playground also proved hugely popular, with the vast majority of the children spending their break time swarming round the star guest for the afternoon.
