Fancy being a flag bearer on Saturday?

26 January 2017

If you've spent the first half of the season looking at the flag bearers forming our pre-match guard of honour and wishing you were part of it, Saturday is your chance!

For the Lancashire derby in the Emirates FA Cup against Blackpool, we'll be offering young supporters from the Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Family Stand the chance to enjoy this great pitchside experience, with staff from our community operation selecting fans in current home shirts at 2.30pm from the front of the stand.
If you're aged 17 or under, and eligible for a junior ticket priced at just £2 for this weekend's action, make sure your 2016/17 season Umbro home shirt is clearly showing to ensure you're in with a chance of being picked - they're just £15 right now in the Roverstore if you don't yet have one.
Please be advised that we'd like the shirts to be clearly visible for the 10 minutes or so that you'd be in position, so wrap up with extra layers beneath your shirt in case the temperatures are lower than the currently forecast 7°C at kick-off. Please also note that the guard of honour is subject to weather conditions, and may not take place if it is decided that conditions are too wet or adverse to invite young fans to pitchside.
Tickets for the tie are currently available in person from the Roverstore, online at or via the ticket office hotline on 01254 372000.
Season ticket holders have until 5pm on Friday to claim a discounted rate of £10 for adults, £5 for seniors aged 65 or over or 18 to 21-year-olds and £2 for juniors aged £17 or under. Non-season ticket holders, or anyone purchasing after 5pm on Friday, pay £12 for adults, £6 for seniors aged 65 or over or 18 to 21-year-olds and £2 for juniors aged £17 or under.
