Jason Lowe knows Rovers have to put in another professional display in the Emirates FA Cup to avoid an upset against Blackpool on Saturday.
Rovers defeated Queens Park Rangers 2-1 in the third round of the competition at Loftus Road to set up the all-Lancashire clash against the League Two side.
But the Rovers captain insists Rovers have to be alert to the danger that the Tangerines possess after they knocked out Championship side Barnsley after a replay.
"I'd love nothing more than to knock them out of the cup, it is as simple as that, we play to win," Lowe told Rovers PlayerHD.
"They'll be coming to cause an upset so we just need to make sure that we match the fight and then obviously bring our quality when we can and convert our chances when we create them.
"At any level in the cup there is always an upset but it is another game. You can't take it lightly, I've a lot of respect for Blackpool, I know a couple of their players, so they'll be coming to win and we need to be ready for that.
"We know that first and foremost we need to get out of the danger zone in the league but like any cup competition, if you have a good run then it breeds confidence that you can then use in the league.
"We have our own ambitions in the cup and hopefully we can get through and just breed that winning mentality."
